Oct 19–25: billing emails, clearer sync status and recurring-event fixes
New and improved
- The sync list and each sync's page now say how quickly a change reaches the other calendar.
- A sync that is applying a settings change now says "Applying your settings change" instead of "Sync on hold".
- Each sync shows what it is waiting on: items waiting, items that need a look, or access to reconnect. A sync whose calendars could not be fully checked no longer shows "Up to date".
- If your work account is blocked by a Microsoft or Google Workspace admin, you now get the exact link or client ID to send to your IT admin, from the dashboard, the setup-help email and the help guide.
- A calendar shared into two of your connected accounts is listed once in the calendar picker, under the account that can write to it. You can no longer create a sync against a read-only copy by mistake.
- New emails: one three days before renewal when your card expires first, with a link to update it, and one when a subscription ends after failed payments, saying which syncs keep running and which are paused.
- Every trial screen now states what the first charge is and when it happens.
- A free trial of Plus or Pro is now the first button when you reach a plan limit or ask for a longer look-ahead.
- Activity explains why a meeting removed from the other calendar was left as it is.
Fixed
- A sync no longer stays on "Sync on hold" because of an old retry or a calendar setup you changed.
- Skipped events and self-healing notices no longer look like errors, and skips now say why.
- Syncs from an iCal feed with repeating events now finish their first sync.
- Events deleted and then restored in the source calendar now come back in the copy.
- A new recurring Outlook meeting now reaches your Google calendar.
- When a recurring series changes or ends earlier in Outlook, the other calendar follows, even if you edited or deleted one of its copies by hand.
- Outlook edits no longer wait hours behind a long re-check of a recurring series.
- Outlook weekly events whose week starts on a day other than Sunday or Monday now sync their settings.
- A new Outlook sync whose first copy never finished because of one recurring meeting now finishes.
- A first sync no longer stays "in progress" forever when some recurring-event copies cannot be sent.
- A first sync with a small backlog is no longer held up behind other accounts' large backlogs.
- A recurring event deleted in a CalDAV calendar (for example SOGo or Mailcow) is removed from the other calendars too, including events deleted before the first full check.
- Deleting a sync no longer gets stuck when some copies were already removed from your calendar.
- A calendar that keeps re-reporting an unchanged event no longer rewrites its Google copy every minute.
- A sync no longer shows "A calendar setting needs checking" after you delete a past event from a recurring meeting.
- Some syncs that stopped with a database timeout on 21 October run again, and slow ones run faster.
- The first-payment confirmation email now goes out only on a real first payment, not on renewals.
- On phones, the cookie notice is one compact row and no longer covers the first button.
- OAuth consent now shows the destination domain and warns when an app is unverified.
- Support now opens in one place. The old feedback button is gone, and the MCP tool
send_feedbackis replaced byfile_support_case.
